Hello and welcome to General Gaming’s Top Five. Where each week we take a quick look at five breaking news stories in the world of video gaming.



Bethesda is releasing Wolfenstein The New Colossus on October 27th. This sequel by to 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order set in 1961 after winning World War 2 the Nazi’s successfully invade the United States, now you must fight to free the United States of Nazis. If you think the characters look realistic, it’s because Bethesda used face-capture technology on over 100 real-life actors. It will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.


Nintendo is releasing Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon on the 3DS on the 17th of November. This will be the last RPG on the 3DS as Nintendo and developers shift their focus to the Switch.  Along with the new Legendary Formes, Pokemon Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun will feature a new story in Alola, which may possibly shed more light on the Legendary Pokemon and the Ultra Beasts.


Activision is releasing Call of Duty WW2 on November the 3rd. The campaign is set around an infantry division in the eastern theatre, One of the newest features is the HQ allowing players to assemble before a mission, in other words, an in-game lobby. Lastly, the Zombies are back. That’s right, more Nazi Zombies than ever before.


Selling over 20 million copies Terraria is a sandbox style video game developed by re-logic. Two months ago, I was fortunate enough to have interviewed the world's number one in Terraria John aka Sash. Having played over 8000 hours in the hardcore expert mode he’s gone where no gamer has gone before. We chat about his rise to the top and some of the challenges he's faced along the way. EA Games is releasing Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the 17th of November. Available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation the game gets an all-new single-player campaign mode. Much similar to Overwatch and Rainbow 6 Siege everyone who purchases Battlefront 2 will get a free EA Account online account however not all the DLC will be free.
